#61 Let's talk about compliments and praise. What compliments are hard to accept? What do the things we praise others for say about us? Why is it so difficult to recognize others' accomplishments? We'll discuss the rules of positive feedback using the example of the fintech company "Tochka."
Anya will explain how the same compliment can be inappropriate, and Polina will discuss how praise can become manipulation and a form of control.
And we'll offer a game challenge to help you train yourself to express approval and support to others!
This week's challenge: give someone a compliment or offer sincere praise every day. We suggest using physical symbols—cutting out a coin or token and handing it out for real in the group, if you agree on this practice, or marking it in your personal journal.
