It's very important as to when you file a claim in a lawsuit. For example, in an automobile accident or injury case, you have one year from the date of the accident to file the suit. If you do not, your claim is over with. In a business claim, or typically a contractual claim, it can range from a year to ten years. It's very important that you know your rights.
