Revealing the dark side
One of the most interesting topics in Astrophysics is how stars form, live their life, and finally die. Significant advancements in theory and observations have unraveled some aspects of the death of massive stars which leave behind stellar remnants such as white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes. However, these dark stellar remnants are very hard to find. We will discuss ways to discover the 'corpses' of stars and shed light on the details of their `death'.
