A fascinating insight into solutions to Waste Water Treatment, with a particular focus on the Bioeconomy and sustainability.

A live recording was made of a webinar hosted by the THYME Project team based within the Energy and Environment Institute at the University of Hull. It was supported by the Catch and Biovale Industrial Clusters and featured speakers from the Universities of Hull and York, as well as Centrica Storage Ltd and the Flood Innovation Centre.

Speakers explored new developments relating to anaerobic digestion, the use of pollen and spores to clean water, and utilising protein markers on microbes. Insight was given into the government-backed Knowledge Transfer Partnerships scheme as a means to support innovation, as well as the ERDF funded Flood Innovation Centre and their work around SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems).
