RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK is one of my go-to teaching movies—a film that does pretty much every element of story structure so superlatively that it’s really a master class all on its own, whether you're writing a book or a script!
It's also a shortcut to improving your writing, because most of you are familiar with these movies and you don’t necessarily have to take the time to re-watch the movie to get a lot out of the breakdown. Although watching the movie along with the breakdown will definitely get you to a whole other level!
In this video, we'll get into how RAIDERS brilliantly uses visual imagery not just to build a fantastic world, but to create THEME and CHARACTER ARC, and how you can do the same in your own story.
