How to Fix a Crooked Horizon Using Lightroom's Straighten or Upright Tool

An image with a crooked horizon can happen easily if you don't have your camera straight when you take your shot. Fortunately it's easy to fix in Lightroom using the straightening tool, which is part of the Crop Overlay tool in the Develop Module. An even easier way to fix your photo is to use the Upright tool in the Lens Correction Panel, which is a new feature available in Lightroom 5. While it's great to have an easy fix in Lightroom, it always helps to shoot with a level camera; using a tripod helps. That will help minimize your post-processing work.
