What the Soul Really Wants

Genuinely fresh new start. New day. New beginning. Right now. What would you like?
Well, the first thing I’d like is someone. I’d like someone bigger than me to protect me. Someone older than me that’s been here a while. Someone smarter than me that can figure things out. Someone to protect me.
Someone to guide me.
Someone to share wisdom with me.
I’d like someone to make me, to put me together, to formulate me, including physical attributes and gifts and skills and purpose. I’d like someone to motivate me. I’d like someone to clean me up, purify the inner man, give me a clean heart, good actions.
What would I like?
I would like to be rescued. I would like to be transformed. I would like to be made new.
I would like to experience the next level. I’d like to walk forward in faith. I’d like to be able to transfer all of my trust upon someone more trustworthy than myself. I’d like to experience a new partnership with a new person who can elevate life to the next level so it becomes abundant.
I’d like to hold the hand of the man from Galilee.
I’d like to be held by the hand of the God Who came to save me.
I’d like to experience the security of assurance, of knowing that the future is safe. I’d like to have peace that is beyond language capacity for description. I’d like to dismal, dying, damp, defeated, non-life.
Can’t live in a cave. I can’t live in a dungeon. I can’t live apart from the divine source of all light and loveliness. I need Him to infuse me with long-suffering, patience, gentleness, meekness, kindness.
Concern, compassion, care, a vision for others. A capacity greater than my own.
That’s what we need. We can’t live life very well apart from the maker designer. I need His strength. I need resilience. I need resurrection power. I need God flowing through me. I need power in the blood. I need intellectual exuberance. I need His mindset. I need a fresh frequency. I need divine something.
Just got to have it.

I need a clear understanding of salvation. Salvation must be of the Lord. It must be designed by God. If He designed it, He will explain it. He must take His blueprint for salvation and deliver it to every nation.
If God is Who we think He is, He must be the kind of God Who wants to reveal His nature, particularly He expresses His love. We know that God loves.
And how do we see it? How do we know it? His hand of care is everywhere. His provision, rain, fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. He cares as a father. He protects, He provides, but more so He wants to express His identity.
More than our maker, more than a source of energy and food and life and health, significantly more than external. God is beyond just our fingertips, God is beyond our eyesight, God is beyond our earlobes, God is beyond our mouth for taste or any sensation because He is ethereal.
He is floating. He is omnipresent. He is at all times. He is filled with knowledge. He is the ultimate repository of wisdom. He is the ultimate elucidator of concepts, and this our great God must be because we desire a God so strongly. And number two, He is capable of communication at the next level, far beyond the most eloquent human you’ve ever heard in your life, the ultimate capital see communicator of purity within without He reverberates deep into our bones our fibers our sinews every bit of our being God can resound the noise the proof the power the presence the purpose His Gospel His good news of refuge and restoration and reconciliation and redemption as He reaches out and says, I will be your God if you approach me on my terms.
And my terms is I will pay a very high price for you. And you will not pay for yourself. You will not pay this bill. You will not participate in your own salvation. You will simply trust that I, as God, in the flesh, in the form of my Son, Who was the fullness of the Godhead bodily, in Him dwelt every bit of God. He demonstrated love.
The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Stop trying to be your own Savior.
Stop trying to impress me. Stop trying to bring me small gifts. I don’t want any that. I want you to transfer full confidence onto my Son. I want you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thereby achieve complete rescue. I want to catch you and keep you and hold you and protect you and preserve you. That’s my job.
Stop stealing my job.
Relax and let me be your Savior. Will you trust me that I have good motives? I think people doubt God...
