How do you influence someone's life without being pushy? My friend Eric showed me the power of asking the right questions instead of giving answers.

Eric wasn't a confrontational evangelist. He never told us what to do. Instead, he had an incredible gift—he helped us ask our own right questions. Just by being around him, nine college freshmen wrestling with life's big decisions eventually came to our own conclusions about faith and purpose.
His approach was simple but profound: "What are you genuinely curious about?" He never said "you need to be a soul winner" or "you need to go to Bible college." Yet nine of us packed our bags and went to Bible college because he stayed at the crossroads, gently pointing us toward truth.

The Power of Community:
Eric gathered us at 7 AM before class. We'd sit around a table and simply read Scripture together—5-10 verses per person, going around the circle. Audio input. Visual input. Team encouragement. That's it. 20-30 minutes. Then we'd go to class.
No pressure. No preaching. Just the Word and community.

His Driving Passion:
Eric loved thinking about Jesus' return. "Jesus is coming back, and I want to be ready to meet Him" - that motivated everything he did.

The Lesson:
Romans 10:8 says "the word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart." When you help someone ask the right questions, they'll answer them with God's power. You don't have to force people to do right—you just have to point them to truth.
