Installing Hard Drive: Creating Simple Volume
If you're confused as to why you can't access your new hard drive after installing it in your PC, and you have access to your windows; Here are some quick simple instructions to setting it up for use.
Open your start menu and type "Disk Management"
If the drive is installed properly, windows will have it listed in your Disk Management window.
Right click on the drive and select "New Volume"
Follow the steps, assign a drive letter and label.
The drive will be ready to use.
