An Afternoon in Girona, Spain
We were so looking forward to our trip to Girona! After visiting Segovia, we were excited to visit Girona. However, our visit landed on a Saturday, during the last weekend of the Flower Festival, and it was anything but enjoyable. There were so many people that they closed off roads and you had to follow the crowds in 1 direction. It was such a disappointment. If you are making a visit to Girona I suggest going during the week. We barely saw any of the city and just needed to escape the crowds. I would love to go back and explore it on a future trip.
