Communicating with Referring Physicians
A few tips on how massage therapists (and many other physical medicine specialists) might have more effective communications with referring physicians.
1. Don't waste time.
2. Don't try to be 'respected'.
3. Minimize Jargon.
4. Give contextualized observations.
5. Be honest about your intuitions and perceptual filters.
