Devil's Claw
Although Devil's Claw is listed as a plant that grows in a few locations in and around Death Valley, I have not been able to find any plants growing in the wild. So, I ordered some seeds and grew a plant in my backyard! The seed pods produced by this plant are highly unusual! Devil's Claw is also sometimes called Unicorn Plant and it is referred to as Proboscidea parviflora in more formal terms.
