The history of toilet paper is quite a messy topic, but somewhere along the way the mullein plant picked up the nickname Cowboy Toilet Paper. Properly known as Verbascum thapsus of the Figwort Family (Scrophulariaceae), mullein is native to Eurasia, but just like the infamous tumbleweed (aka, Russian Thistle) it now grows all over the place in North America and elsewhere.

LYRICS:
I make no promise or guarantee
That you'll wind up skidmark free
But use it as TP when you got none
Cowboy toilet paper gets the job done

Cowboy Toilet Paper
Soft and smooth
Cowboy Toilet Paper
For a tough dude
Cowboy Toilet Paper
Works pretty well
Cowboy Toilet Paper
Got a sweet smell

I make no promise or guarantee
That you'll wind up skidmark free
But use it as TP when you got none
Cowboy toilet paper gets the job done

As usual, this video features one of my annoying, but original, songs. I wrote and performed the song. The mullein plant shown is still growing in my yard as I write this although it looks a little tattered due to recent wind and the cows were filmed in the Golden Trout Wilderness. Apparently, preexisting grazing rights give them the right to graze in a wilderness area.
