1 Week In Elementary OS To Keep Or Not That Is A Question Solid System For The NOT New To Linux User
My first impression did not take long to change. While I still say that EOS has a place it's just not me. A lot of little paper cuts took a lot of little band-aids. I don't like band-aids.
Their homepage says 'for new Linux users'. I doubt that. I am no expert but can usually find some solutions via my experiences and the internet. It seemed that there is definitely more work needed on EOS before their next release. Other wise I may just pass it by the next time.
I was truly hoping for a better experience. Any ways, if you install V-Box and get a uninstall/reinstall dkms failure, then check out the notes below.

How to Fix
virtualbox modprobe failure (remedied, required manual intervention) * see note
after installing V-Box returned error: modprobe returned no such directory &
uninstall & reinstall vbox-dkms &
run modprobe again ALL Failed
Solution:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install --reinstall linux-headers-$(uname -r) virtualbox-dkms dkms
reboot & run:
sudo modprobe vboxdrv
