I’ve been back in the lab scripting a vision for what a high-stakes, realistic Finding Nemo would actually look like! Since the original Pixar masterpiece is a benchmark for digital water, I wanted to see if I could translate Marlin’s epic quest into a grounded, cinematic marine experience that feels like a journey across the actual Great Barrier Reef.
In my "Great Barrier Reef" concept, I’ve re-contextualized breathtaking underwater cinematography and marine fragments to build a pitch that explores the bond between Marlin and Dory in a realistic world. I got deep into the edit to re-cook these fragments—blending custom VFX for the East Australian Current and my signature "Den" sound design!
