Prepositions
A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in a sentence.
It usually tells you where, when, or how something happens.
Examples of common prepositions:
Location/Position: in, on, under, behind, between
Time: before, after, during, since
Direction/Movement: to, from, toward, into, across
Other relationships: with, about, for, of
Example sentences:
The book is on the table. (shows place)
We will meet after lunch. (shows time)
She walked to the park. (shows direction)
