Today I am tying a Maholo Nymph. The Maholo Nymph is a popular Pyramid Lake Fly Pattern whose name reflects the material that makes this fly “POP!” – the Holographic abdomen is where it gets part of its name. The Maholo Nymph is a pattern that is a variation of a Pheasant Tail Nymph and was created by Rob Anderson of Nevada.
This fly lands many fish at many different locations. If you are looking for something different for your fly box this is your fly.
