The motion of gas bubbles in a liquid, oil drops in water, and solid particles in the air are examples of multiphase flows where two or more fluids are separated by distinct interfaces. These types of flows are widely observed both in nature and industries. To analyze sloshing of the fuel in tanks, cavitation around pumps and propellers, ocean wave loads on ships and structures, gearbox lubrication, evaporation, and condensation the multiphase flow analysis is performed. To simulate multiphase flow, CFD solvers should be smart enough to track the interface of the fluids. ENA2 acquired multiple strong CFD solvers that can be applied by our experienced CFD specialists to provide reliable solutions to our customers in a variety of industries.
