Thermal runaway (TR) is a self-accelerating exothermic reaction that increases temperature and pressure in a battery, leading to catastrophic failure or fire. Join our upcoming webinar to understand how to quickly simulate and mitigate thermal runaway in various battery packs, a critical challenge, for example, for the EV industry. Leveraging a hybrid approach to battery pack design technology, participants will gain insights into accurately simulating TR initiation, its propagation speed, and designing effective mitigation strategies to prevent battery fires at the design stage.
During this webinar, we will also discuss how the hybrid approach (combining physics and ML) enables users to simulate the spread of TR across the pack and immediately predict self-heating at the cell level, leading to explosions and early detection of TR events.
