In this Godot Tutorial, I will teach you how to set up a player character and create animations using a sprite sheet and the animationplayer.
Nearly every game has animations, and for 2d games, they are very often set up using a sprite sheet. In Godot, we can easily create all the various animations from a sprite sheet using the animation player node. This powerful tool has many functionalities and we will be looking at one of the main uses in this Godot Tutorial.
