What is Google Ads Video Certification? Should you do it?

With the Google Ads Video Certification exam, you basically need to take two tests: 1) the Google Ads "fundamentals" exam and 2) the video certification exam. They don't necessarily need to be taken in a specific order but the typical learning path is to take the fundamentals first, then the video advertising exam.
If you pass both tests, you can call yourself a "Google Ads Certified Professional" in video advertising. Here's the help article if you're interested: https://support.google.com/google-ads...
In my opinion, the Adwords Video Certification assessment's value has diminished from the value it used to hold. Look up the word "credentialism" on Google and you'll see what I mean.
There are some benefits or reasons people become a Google Ads qualified individual. The primary reasons are:
1) it's a job requirement
2) self-betterment / knowledge
3) employers seek candidates that are "certified"
4) title or status
Google Ads has made great strides in making the learning center (currently in "Academy for ads") interactive. Unfortunately, some of that training is out-dated and no-longer relevant. Further, there's a big difference in reading material and actually being able to apply it or recognize when to apply it.
