In this video, we'll go in-depth and explain every feature within the Groups tab of PPC Campaign Generator. The purpose of the Group tab is to be a keyword group refinement step. A lot of times, you'll want to merge similar keyword groups together. You can do that easily on this tab with simple drag-and-drop.
Other features include adding custom variables (custom1, custom2, custom3) on the Ad groups so you can use these values as variables within the ads when you go and generate your campaign.
The most powerful part of the Groups tab is the filters. If you use these filters strategically, you can apply AND/OR logic to really identify pockets of keywords that either don't belong or should be negatives or should have their own ad group. The best way to learn how to use the filters is to simply use them.
For example, you could have a single ad group with a lot of keywords in it and use the "DoesNotContainFullWord" filter to filter out words or phrases that you want to add as negatives when evaluating a keyword list. This is powerful stuff and so convenient!
