Hi Guys !
It's been some time since my last video. I Noticed you've been quite a few in the meantime to join this channel so welcome everyone !
Today answering a question that kept popping in my feed which was "How do you get procedural textures like noise or triplanar to follow an animated object in Houdini ? " Great question ! Indeed by default those textures won't be sticking to your geometries !
Let's see how we can do that using a rest attribute... And at same time I'll do a little reminder of what a triplanar is. I am using Redshift to render in this tutorial but the same principles would apply to Mantra or Arnold.
Like I say in the video I have a bit less time this year because I'm really trying to focus on a scifi shortfilm I'm making with my brother... And I've got really a lot of work !
One way to help us is actually to have a look at my artstation products, and if I can interest you into a photo/video pack the small earnings are fully invested into the project, for the alien makeups, props, designs etc... Please check out adrienlambert.artstation.com/store if you'd like to support us that would mean the world to me !
Don't hesitate to ask me more questions, I'll be happy to help
see you guys very soon !
