Set in the 1980s in America My Best Friends Exorcism is almost as good as William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist.
I say "almost" because nothing is ever quite as good as The Exorcist !
The novels as good as the film !
But the author of My Best Friend's Exorcism has the sceenwriters eye for detail and ear for dialogue .
The novel's like a soundtrack of the 1980s .
Even if U don't care much for horror , its a great story of teenage angst and Enduring Love between best friends !!
