My first solo wild camp- since I was spooked the last time
After almost a year since my last solo wild camp — when my dog got spooked by something unknown and I woke up at 3 AM to distant voices in the dark — I finally decided it was time to face my fears and get back out there.
This video follows my journey as I return to the wild for a solo wild camp, testing my mental strength, and confidence in the outdoors. From setting up camp to spending the night completely alone, this was about pushing past fear and rediscovering the peace and freedom that comes with wild camping alone.
Join me as I hike out to a remote spot, set up camp, cook some food, and embrace the sounds of nature once again. It’s not just about camping — it’s about overcoming anxiety, reconnecting with nature, and proving to myself that I can do this.
