A happy, wholesome family sings about the virtues of Dixie Ice Cream Bouquet Cups, which were single-serving paper cups of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and edible sparkles, designed to "harmonize with all your favorite tableware", in this musical ad from 1956.
Soda fountains selling handmade sundaes were immensely popular at the time, but ice cream novelties like this were edging in on the market due to the growth of the ice cream truck industry and most of America having traded their old-fashioned iceboxes for electric refrigerators and freezers.
