5 Things Coming in Season 22 of Apex Legends You Should Know About
New Map: District
A brand new map, District, is expected to drop in Season 22. This map has been leaked for over a year, with high-definition images of points of interest like Dry Dock Arcade, Street Market, and Blossom Drive.
The map was teased in the Season 21 launch trailer, featuring a confrontation between Horizon and Alter at the Humbert Labs POI.
Lifeline Rework
Lifeline might be getting a rework to make her more of a combat medic. Her rumored abilities include:
A new passive that allows her to glide for a few seconds with the D.O.C. drone.
The drone will follow allies to heal them.
A new ultimate called Shockbot 3000, described as a shield that pushes enemies back and can be shot through. Keep in mind, these are leaks and could change.
Dual-Wielding P2020 and Mozambiques
Dual-wielding P2020s and Mozambiques will be introduced, changing up the weapon meta. If you find two of these weapons on the ground, you’ll be able to dual-wield without needing a hop-up.
Return of Popular LTMs
To kick off Season 21, the fan-favorite LTM Straight Shot will be available to play. Additionally, a reworked version of the Bounty Hunter mode might also be making a comeback.
New Heirlooms and Skins
Upcoming heirlooms include a Bangalore heirloom recolor, a Pathfinder prestige skin, and a new universal heirloom—a karambit—which hasn't been widely requested but will be available nonetheless.
