5 Major Changes Coming in Apex Legends Season 22
Including Details About the Aim Assist Nerf
R99 in the Care Package
The R99 is moving to the care package with impressive new stats:
Magazine size increased to 30.
Reserve ammo increased to 210.
Damage increased from 11 to 14.
New Recon Legend Perk: Threat Vision
All recon legends are getting a new perk called Threat Vision, highlighting enemies in red when aiming down sights (ADS).
This perk repurposes part of Bloodhound’s old kit for the entire recon class.
Additional changes to recon legends include:
Increased Survey Beacon spawn rate.
Faster scanning process.
Scans grant +75 EVO.
Scans will occur multiple times within 15 seconds.
New Supply Bins
Introducing two new types of supply bins:
Rare Gold Bins: Contain better than usual loot.
Mythic Bin: Appears once per match, containing EVO shields, gold weapons, and even care package weapons. These take longer to open and are marked on the map.
Battle Sense
Battle Sense is being added to core Battle Royale modes, offering:
Enemy health bars.
Highlights for enemies at close range (but not at long range).
Aim Assist Nerf
Aim assist for controllers on PC is being nerfed, with its value decreasing from 0.4 to 0.3.
