Early Patch Notes for Apex Legends Season 22: Major Updates and Changes
Season 22 of Apex Legends is bringing some exciting updates and changes. Here’s what you need to know:
Akimbo for Mozambique and P2020:
Dual-wielding: Picking up two Mozambique or P2020 weapons allows dual-wielding.
Mirrored attachments: Attachments found are mirrored onto the second gun.
Automatic fire: Both guns become automatic with an increased fire rate.
No ADS: Aiming down sights is replaced with tighter hip fire.
LMGs:
New Gun Shield hop-up: All LMGs now have a front-facing shield called Gunshield Generator, similar to Gibraltar’s old passive.
Shield durability: The shield can absorb 40 damage and regenerates after a short cooldown once destroyed.
Shotguns:
Mastiff and Peacekeeper: Damage per pellet increased, but they fire fewer pellets.
Weapon Adjustments:
Havoc: Hip fire accuracy reduced.
Hemlock: Damage reduced from 20 to 19, increased time between bursts, and smaller magazine sizes for white and blue mags.
Ammo stack sizes:
Light ammo: Increased from 60 to 72.
Shotgun ammo: Increased to 20.
Energy ammo: Increased to 54.
Light ammo magazine capacity: Increased for Light Ammo guns, including the R-301.
Aim flinch: Removed from weapons and abilities, except for ring damage flinch.
Vantage's Sniper:
Damage increase: Now does 125 damage to marked targets, up from 100.
Flatline Magazine Size Reduction:
Base Mag: Reduced from 20 to 19.
White Mag: Reduced from 25 to 23.
Blue Mag: Reduced from 28 to 27.
Purple Mag: Reduced from 30 to 29.
Crypto's New "Off the Grid" Perk:
Invisibility: Allows Crypto to go completely invisible.
LMGs:
Reverse Hip-Fire Mechanic: Now share the mechanic found in the Care Packaged Devotion.
Controller Legends Update:
New “Zone Overcharge” perk: Grants an extra +25 shield when in the zone. Shields disappear once outside the zone.
Threat vision: Seer, Bloodhound, Crypto, and Vantage now have threat vision when aiming down sights.
Survey Beacon: Scans up to 500m, increased spawn rate, faster scanning, grants +75 EVO, and allows multiple scans within 15 seconds.
