Saut De Basque: ballet class tutorial (intermediate/advanced)
Saut de basque looks like a turn, but instead of thinking 'to turn', think 'back/front'. It should feel like a very flat or sharp movement.
The first movement is a grand battement side to 90º, fix it there. Then with the other leg do a passé front. The force of the passé will turn you the second half, you don't need to do any extra turning.
