Assign surface finish (roughness) symbol in drafting: Comparing NX and CATIA commands
Assigning surface finish or roughness symbol is very important in drafting of a part. This symbol helps a person to decide which type of finish (fine machining or rough machining) is needed to perform.
In CATIA the process is very simple. On the other hand in NX, it’s simple but lengthy. The ‘flag’ option is always needed to change the orientation of the symbol and we have to click ‘select terminating object’ every time we have to give symbol.
