Trim body (split) and intersection curve: Comparing NX and CATIA commands
Sometimes we have to cut part body in unusual shape, like curved surface. The process is to create surface and part separately and cut part along the surface intersection it. The command is called ‘split’ in CATIA and ‘trim body’ in NX.
We can also show the curvature along which we cut the part. The process is shown in the video.
