---!!!Please Read description for the in-depth character guide!!!----
Hello. So. I have the game Dissidia: Final fantasy and thought I'd make proper use of the battle replay recording system. I am planning on making a character guide which will go through the pros and cons of the characters whilst showing you some little techniques with them via video.
Right. So. My first character guide I decided to use The Emperor. I know it's a little random and he's a low level (7), but what I ask is, why not? Don't worry though, I can take requests if anyone wants. If not, I'll just make the guides in any order that I like :).
Here is a basic crackdown of the Emperor.
He is very good tactician. Use his moves correctly and you can finish your opponent in no time!
His EX Mode is really powerful.
The moves he has range from some decent close-ranges to some good long-range ones.
Each of his attacks (bravery or HP) have their own little characteristics making battles a lot more experimental and fun.
He is pretty slow.
His EX Mode shows you the D-pad and right-hand side buttons on-screen and you have to press the ones that flash. This is really annoying and you can easily press the wrong button in a rush.
His Flare move has to be used quite a bit which makes you look like a spammer all the time.
His moves:
HP - Flare(Mid-air): The mid-air version of Flare summons a ball of...Flare? And moves toward the opponent for a very short while and then just stops...
HP - Flare(ground): This is the same as mid-air but it constantly follows the enemy around.
Bravery - Thunder Crest: This move is used on the ground and basically, The Emperor creates a crest on the floor and then it floats toward the enemy and, if it comes into conact with them, traps them whilst sapping their bravery. This move gives Flare a 100% chance of hitting since the opponent is still.
Bravery - Landmine(air/ground): Summons a couple (sometimes more) bombs that will stay around for quite a while. Its best to use this move near the opponent for a definite hit.
Bravery - Light Crest: This move is used in the air and summons a crest that shoots out missiles toward the opponent. Good for close/mid-range but pretty easy to dodge.
(I know that these aren't the only moves for The Emperor. But these are the ones that you start with, if I went through ALL of his moves. It'd be a bit pointless for the people that are deciding whether to play as him as he starts off at level 1, obviously. I will do the same with every other character.)
Overview: Basically. He is good for the people that love to toy with their opponent and have in-depth attacks but for anyone that just likes to kick the hell out of their opponent with quick attacks, this guy aint for you!
My Opinion: I really like this guy if I'm honest. His floor trap move is my favourite and makes the Flare move a definite hit! Of course, that brings the problem of actually getting the opponent in your floor trap, that can be tricky.
Hope you enjoyed it :3.
P.S: I have Terra and Zidane at level 100 :D.
