Grafting fruit trees-collecting scion wood
Since there has been so much interest in grafting-and it is a really useful skill to have- I plan to put up a series of videos through 2011 looking at all aspects of what I have found works in my southern English orchard. This will include grafting new stocks, restoring old trees, and chip budding.
First, collect your scion wood. TIMING is crucial, then store cool and damp until required.
