Hear from Prof. Margaret Wierman - Past President of the International Society of Endocrinology on her thoughts on #EDEC2023
Margaret Wierman MD, is a Professor of Medicine, Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and
is excited to be here in Dubai for 13th Emirates Diabetes & Endocrine Congress where she talked about "Sex Hormone Replacement Therapy in Women Across the Lifespan" and "What an Endocrinologist should know about Contraception" to all the interested delegates at the congress.
Dr. Wierman is a translational physician-scientist whose research interest has been in reproductive endocrinology and sex hormone action, and more recently in the molecular mechanisms of pituitary tumors and adrenal cancer. She received the Women in Endocrinology Mentor Award and the Endocrine Society Laureate Mentor Award from the Endocrine Society.
She had a great time at the EDEC 2023 Congress and wishes all the delegates had a wonderful time learning from the rich scientific program!
