I was messing around this evening and found myself developing this exercise. Yes, many of us have done 1's to 8's to 1's. I've done it over quarter notes as well. But doing it over a 3:4 polymetric relationship is a bit more challenging because you have to do the whole thing three times before you come back to the beginning.
I will be doing a full lesson on this very soon but thought you might like to see this so you can start thinking about it.
