Awesome Drum Groove in 7/8
Each month the DrumMantra Lesson Vault members take on a new challenge. January 2023 had everyone working on this awesome drum groove in 7/8. The kick & snare are doing a repetitive ostinato while the ride cymbal goes through 12 different patterns.

This is an advanced exercise series with polymetric coordination winding its way through the measures of seven (namely the dotted eighth and a few five-note groupings).
