Does the movie live up to the hype? Was it worth resurrecting Wolverine? And is it just for the Deadpool fanboys? You’ll have to watch this episode of ReelTalk to find out. What we can tell you is the blood-soaked repartee between the movie’s stars, Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) throughout the film blurs the line between fiction and their real-life bromance and is worth the price of admission alone.
With superhero, X-Men and Marvel references flying thick and fast, the movie includes some insane superstar cameos, that must be seen to be believed. The movie also stars Emma Corrin (The Crown) as villain Cassandra Nova and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) as the mysterious Mr Paradox and is directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy).
Deadpool is now part of the Disney family, but don’t worry, it’s not a PG film, with enough swearing, fight scenes and laughs to remind you you’re watching a Deadpool movie.
