If Marathon was akin to the Coen brothers 'off-beat' style, then Infinity is full-blown A24 madness. It also has the fan-base to match. You'll probably need someone to explain to you what the heck you just played but don't worry. They'll happily come out of the woodwork to talk your ear off for hours on end.
It's more of a glorified level pack than an actual sequel, but Infinity still delivers some glorious classic carnage, hard as nails (bordering on infuriating) level design, and the most head-spinning story ever put to an FPS. At least, one that isn't incoherent Slav-jank.
The real feature of Infinity was the included release of Bungie's toolset, Forge and Anvil. So now, everybody can go ham on Marathon's engine. And go ham they did. If you want to see how this looked like, here a playlist of the Forge tutorial videos that was on the Infinity CD.

Here's an interesting tidbit. The 4-level stretch between 'Acme Station' and 'Thing What Kicks' has no accessible end level save points. So, in order for the video to have no abrupt mid-level jump cuts, I'd have to do all 4 levels in one life or else restart from the beginning of 'Acme Station'. This means one-lifeing through the most pain-in-the-butt stretch of levels in all of Marathon. Also, because I'm doing a normal playthrough of all the main levels, I can't load up on ammo in 'Two for the Price of one' (skips 'Confound Delivery') or do the 'Electric sheep" skip. For the first half of the game my ammo situation is DIRE.
In short, Welcome to PAIN! Don't follow this route if you do a TC run of infinity.
Once again, the music is a fan made soundtrack from Talashar: Strange Aeons. It's available on simplici7y or on the Steam Workshop.

Now that that's done, I'll never have to reduce another bug-eyed alien into a pile of chitlin ever again. I mean, surely someone wouldn't use Marathon's editing suite to create some incredibly kick-ass scenarios and conversions that I'd have to show off... Right?
0:00 Intro
1:20 Ne Cede Malis (It's the first level and we're punching Phfor. Looks normal to me.)
7:18 Chapter 1 - Despair
7:54 Rise Robot Rise (Bugs are so obedient...)
16:27 Poor Yorick (This music track is a certified banger)
25:33 Confound Delivery (The BoBs are now officially fed up with my crap.)
36:13 Electric Sheep One (Do you take the quick and easy path? Or do you like abject suffering?)
36:51 Where are Monsters in Dreams (I tried going for the SPNKR but the damage taken made 'Acme Station' and 'Post Naval' miserable)
38:23 Chapter 2 - Rage
38:28 Acme Station (Excuse me while I clear out 16 failed recordings from my hard drive.)
40:57 Post Naval Trauma (But what about second vacuum level?)
50:36 Where Some Rarely Go (Now with 100% genuine bull-S'pht. You'll know when you see 'em).
1:01:18 Thing What Kicks... (My Kingdom for an AR mag)
1:09:18 Electric Sheep Two (I wish I could dream a grenade launcher into existence)
1:09:55 Whatever You Please (At this rate, invisible S'pht are going to be in my nightmares too.)
1:12:50 Naw Man He's Close (Hmm... upgrades)
1:24:59 Foe Hammer (Likes taking long walks in hard vacuum)
1:35:34 Hang Brain (Something about this level makes the troopers extra bullet spammy)
1:50:21 Electric Sheep Three (Dream a little dream of me...)
1:51:56 Eat the Path (Eat the food, eat the path.)
2:02:34 Chapter 3 - Envy
2:02:41 By Committee (At this point, you realize that going for all that ammo in 'Hang Brain' was as total trap.)
2:15:34 One Thousand Thousand Slimy Things (I completely spaced on the extra ammo secret. Woops)
2:28:12 A Converted Church in Venice, Italy (If you feel the need to include a secret "cheese this level button", you might want to reconsider your design.)
2:46:26 Son of Grendel (You can cheese this level in 30 seconds, but I did it normal.)
2:53:09 Strange Aeons (Short, sweet, easy)
2:57:03 Bagged Again (Son of Grendal Redux. Welcome to the party. It's gonna be a killer!)
2:58:25 You Think You're Big Time?... (Loading up your prisoner with heavy ordinance seems an odd way to go about an execution)
3:06:50 Aye Mak Sicur (I Make Sure. This map is one polygon short of Marathon's 1024 limit.)
3:18:49 Ending
3:21:56 Dev Terminal - The VidMaster Challenge
3:22:56 Try Again (M1 Redux. Now with 5 Juggernauts!)
3:41:26 If I Had a Rocket Launcher, I'd Make Someone Pay (M2 Redux but now you have to vidmaster start it...)
3:45:28 You Think You're Big Time?... (One more round of executions, now with an overload of roided up bugs)
