What is 9/11? 9/11 was a time of the attacks of the Twin Towers and New York City and the Pentagon, They even had a plane fail too which crashed on a spot because the people got control of the plane from the hijackers. At the crash area they made a memorial. The Towers got attacked by planes. One at the North Tower at 8:46 A.M. by American Airlines Flight 11. People thought it was an accident.Then at 9:03 a.m. United Airlines Flight 175 hit the South Tower. People were starting to think it was on purpose. At 9:59 a.m. the South Tower collapsed after burning for 56 minutes. 29 minutes later at 10:28 a.m. the North Tower collapsed after burning for 102 minutes. At 9:37 a.m. American Airlines Flight 77 hit the Pentagon. At 10:03, 4 minutes after the South Tower collapse, a plane crashed in the ground near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. A total of 2996 people died including the 16 hijackers and the 2977 victims. Never forget this horrible disaster that happened.
