This Lesson contains about the Introduction of CSS, Syntax & Example for writing a CSS code.
CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet.
CSS is a simple design language that is used to make web pages more presentable.The look and feel part of a web page is handled by CSS where as Styles defines how to display the HTML content. and these style rules are normally stores in a Style Sheets.
The style tag is always placed under the head tag.
Each Style Rule consists of three parts:
1) Selector: It as a HTML tag at which a Style is applied. It can be heading, paragraph,table etc.
2) Properties: A property is just a type of attribute of HTML tag. It can be color, margins,border,font etc.
3) Value: values are assigned to the property. for ex-: red can be the value for the color attribute/property.
