This lesson contains about the Input tag & Properties of form and their attributes:
Input tag is having the attributes like Type, size, name, value, maxlength. These attributes of input are used to define the properties like Textboxes, Password, Hidden, Check boxes, File Upload, Select drop-down list/menu.
1)TextBox: It is used to provide input fields for text, dates & phone numbers etc.
2)Password: It is a type of box that is used to allow entry of Passwords.
The text that is typed in a password box is starred out in the browser display.
3)Hidden: It is used for session tracking i.e to identifying the user that comes with the request to the web server.
Nothing is displayed on a browser for Hidden field.
4)Check box: It allows the user to select more than single/one option.
Check box can also be autochecked.
5)File: File is used to allow the user/surfer to upload files to the Web Server
File can be of any format
6)Select: It is used to make drop-down list or menu which is having the multiple option for the user selection.
Option tag with the value attribute is used to define the various options for the user to select the one of them
