This song was one of the first projects I worked on during the lockdown last year. It was born out of an idea that Mary Gatchell and I had to make a record of Broadway tunes in different world music styles. This was the first song that came out of that idea. I'd like to dedicate this to friends and family, remembering how music was such an important aspect of our home life, from my mom singing show tunes with my sister at the piano, my grandmother singing opera and soprano in the church choir and my brother, sister and I looking forward to buying our next 45's to listen to in the basement. The video also pays tribute to the countries represented by the musicians who performed on the track: USA, Italy, India, Haiti, Suriname and Malaysia, the home lands of Mary, Falu, Emeline, A.T.N., Steve and myself. I hope you enjoy our music. If you enjoy the music and video, please consider donating to a school, music organization, community center or any place that is teaching music to kids and passing it on to future generations. Thank you, grazie, dhanyavaad, mèsi, grantangi, and terima kasih. ... LT
