Regardless of the job, BE has an accessory that will allow you to complete it quickly and effectively. In this video, we'll give an overview of various spray nozzles, a water broom, and Whirl-A-Ways.
When looking at nozzles, it is important to note that each of them creates a different spray pattern. Each of these patterns are meant for different tasks and surfaces, so it is important to ensure that you are using the correct nozzle for the job.
0 Degree Nozzle (Red): This nozzle produces a highly concentrated stream of water. Due to the high pressure and power, this is only meant for deep cleaning in small areas. It should only be used on concrete and metallic surfaces, as it can damage anything softer than this.
15 Degree Nozzle (Yellow): This nozzle produces a powerful v-shaped stream. It covers a wider area but is too powerful for use on soft surfaces. That being said, it can still be used on garage floors, concrete walls, and even roofs or drains.
25 Degree Nozzle (Green): This nozzle produces a more dispersed stream of water. Due to the wider surface area, you may notice a slight dip in pressure and power. Typically used for cleaning decks, walkways, and brick surfaces.
40 Degree Nozzle (White): This widely-used nozzle creates a wide spray pattern that covers more surface area at a lower pressure. This allows it to be used on surfaces such as stucco walls, siding, and glossy surfaces. The reduced pressure may mean that you need to go over the surface again for a deep clean, but it also ensures that softer surfaces aren't damaged in the process.
65 Degree Soaper Nozzle (Black): This nozzle allows the pressure washer to draw soap from an on-board or external soap tank (varies with model). Due to the low amount of pressure, it is only meant for coating a surface in soap to loosen stubborn dirt, mildew, and debris. Rinsing is typically done with the white, green, or yellow nozzle depending on the type of surface being cleaned.
Gum Blaster Nozzle (Red): Though the same colour as the 0-degree nozzle, it is identifiable by the 6 individual openings in it instead of 1. This nozzle is typically used to remove gum or extremely stubborn substances from a concrete or metallic surface.
Variable Nozzle: This versatile nozzle allows you to switch between 6 different modes (0, 15, 25, and 40 degrees, soaper, and rinser). With the variable nozzle, you no longer need to remove and attach different nozzles to change the spray pattern. Instead, you simply turn and click the nozzle to the desired pattern whenever needed.
Rotary Nozzle: A popular nozzle that produces a high-pressure cone of water with heavy cleaning power. This should only be used on concrete or metallic surfaces, but it produces a deep clean in a much wider area than a standard 0-degree nozzle.
Water Broom: The Water Broom is a low-pressure attachment that can have 3 or 4 nozzles on it depending on the model. It allows the user to clean a wide area up to 30% faster than they would be able to with a standard nozzle. Ideal for outdoor walkways, driveways, and other hard surfaces, it can be used to clean and remove debris.
Whirl-A-Way: The Whirl-A-Way is a premium flat surface cleaner that produces the best results in the least amount of time. They range in size from 14" all the way up to 30" industrial units depending on your need and intended application.
Intended for hard, flat surfaces, the Whirl-A-Way allows the user to clean large areas such as sidewalks, parking lots, and garages quickly. Smaller units can be attached directly to your spray gun, while larger units come with their own gun and attach to the high-pressure hose instead.
