WhistlePig is a mixed bag for us. Some bottles we really enjoy, and others leave us with hype depression. Piggyback itself has never been one we thought was worth writing home about, but when this bottle of single barrel showed up, we were colored intrigued. Apple and passionfruit notes hits strong on the nose with a bitterness following up reminiscent of tea or a dry wine. Those flavors follow through on the taste with a little more rounded depth and a softness that makes it pretty easy drinking. As much as we hate falling for marketing ploys and hype, this is a tasty bottle we don't think you'll regret. Cheers!

You can call us Taste Buds or the Two Guys behind the counter, it doesn't matter to us.
