Recruit Turnout Drills
One of the many skills the Firefighter recruit drills focus on is turnout time. Recruits must don all of their structural firefighting gear and be seated and belted in the truck or engine in 65 seconds. A quick reaction time from station bells to the apparatus pulling out of a station is critical to our success as a professional fire department. (Recruit Stephen Connell is in the video below)
