Our Ben mirror is an undulating, hand-formed, Italian glass work of art. In this artisan technique, a thick piece of glass is melted onto an underlying form.
Beautiful etching occurs where the glass reacts to the form, which highlights the bend and flow of the design. This is not a defect; this is a feature of the Ben mirror. The glass is not broken or cracked.
Visible seams are a small artifact of the manufacturing process, noticeable after the silver liquid is applied to the back of the mirror.
