Sound Vases
Global Views is proud to be the first manufacturer in the US to present the latest technology in home décor: a sound-made Portuguese ceramic collection. The process begins with the recording of a trained singer in a spaciously beautiful monastery in Alcobaça, Portugal. A computer program then maps the coordinates for the base of the design, utilizing the sound of the voice to form the shape and build the body of the vessel. Once completed, the digital design is 3-D printed into a mold that’s used to create slip molded ceramic vases.
