How to Air-Layer a Rubber Plant
From a 1993 episode of "The Indoor Garden" TV series: This is a very clear demonstration on air-layering. It's a great way to propagate the woodier stemmed houseplants such as Ficus varieties, Dracaenas and Dieffenbachias.

"The Indoor Garden" TV Show is a television series that was produced and aired in the Washington DC and Baltimore, MD areas. It ran on cable channels and PBS broadcast station WHUT-TV in the 1990's. The series was made on professional grade VHS videotape, transferred to DVD and converted to an .mp4 for YouTube.
**Liz had spent over 17 years learning horticultural skills hands-on before producing the show. Her career included work in plant stores, florists and an interior plantings maintenance company.
