Critters of Samal's Islands - January 2015
Just some of the critters to be found in the waters around Samal Island:
Painted Frogfish (Antennarius pictus)
Pygmy Cuttlefish (Idiosepius paradoxus)
Dragon Sea Moth (Eurypegasus draconis)
Starry Night Octopus (Callistoctopus luteus)
Giant Frogfish (Antennarius commerson)
Nudibranch (Flabellina exoptata)
Black Combtooth Blenny (Ecsenius namiye)
Nudibranch (Noumea alboannulata)
Blue-ringed Octopus (Hapalochlaena lunulata) -- sorry about the crazy footage!
All these critters were spotted off the western coast of Samal Island, Philippines, in January 2015.
